1987 Ford F-250

The story

This truck is my current daily driver/tow vehicle. It's been a work horse for me the last 5 years or so. It's hauled many many vehicles, a lot of loads of scraps and plenty of other stuff.

This truck has almost 300,000 miles on the original little 5.0L . It's never been rebuilt. This truck has been very reliable for me. The only repairs I've had to make have been I replaced a section of the hard brake line going to the rear brakes( rusted thru ) . And I had a rear axle seal that was leaking so I tore it down and replaced both axle bearings and seals and replaced all the rear brakes while I had it tore down.

But it's time to move on to a heavier truck so I bought a 91 Ford F-Super Duty that I'm going to fix up next spring and use for my tow vehicle. Once it's done I'll be retiring the 87. — Fordman7575
