1968 Ford Mustang — This is the block as I received it. It had 3 sleeves, oil pump mounting pad was BRAZED back on, etc.... Undou… 1968 Ford Mustang — 7M9 production date. 1968 Ford Mustang — Oil pump mounting base brazed back on ??????? A real half-assed repair. 1968 Ford Mustang — Starting to de-burr block & modify oil galleys. 1968 Ford Mustang — Oil pump mounting base, I tried to dress it down where it was brazed back on. 1968 Ford Mustang — Drilled ALL oil galley holes, tapped & installed pipe plugs. Cleaned up casting flash & opened up return hole… 1968 Ford Mustang — Opened up oil supply holes & smoothed out galleys. Blue painted engine block with crankshaft and connecting rods visible inside.
