About the 1962–1965 Ford Fairlane

A Ford Fairlane from the generation archive from the generation archive

The 1962-1965 Ford Fairlane was Ford's first intermediate, a unibody car on a 115.5 inch wheelbase sized between the Falcon and the full-size Galaxie. It introduced the Windsor small-block V8, launching with the 221 in 1962, adding the 260 at mid-year, then the 289 in mid-1963 in a single form, the 271 hp K-code Hi-Po, with a 195 hp 2-barrel 289 following for 1964. In 1964 Ford built 100 Fairlane Thunderbolts, factory lightweight drag cars with the 427 high-riser, and the body was restyled for 1964 and again for 1965.

all factory windows and trim
only modification is wheels and drivetrain
original cream color; going to set up as a daily driver for my grandfather to substitute for his f350 diesel — GabeC1972
