1964 Ford Fairlane “old gal”
About the 1962–1965 Ford Fairlane
The 1962–1965 Ford Fairlane shows up here in all stages of life — from a sharp red '64 coupe still wearing its chrome trim to project cars with empty engine bays and serious rust, plus garage builds caught mid-restoration with bare body panels. The Fairlane (1962-1965) community on SuperMotors captures these midsize Fords exactly as owners find and build them, whether it's a clean black coupe sitting in a yard or a stripped shell riding on a trailer headed for a second chance.
The story
Dad bought old gal new, gave it to Grandma around 1968, then in 1985 Grandma passed on, I got it back to restore, but it just sits in the barn hibernating. I have way too many other Fords to keep me busy, hense the name Fordman. Usually always have 15 or 20 around. — Terry Miller
