The story
I have owned this truck for 15 yrs. I'm the 3rd. owner and purchased it from my father in law Tubby, after it had a minor "accident". On the way back from a trip, while towing a 21ft. camper trailer, the r/r wheel sheered the wheel studs and came off the truck, lodging the wheel standing up between the axles of the trailer,(see pic. ) The trailer was written off and I bought it back from the ins. co and repaired it. I then needed somthing to tow it with and purchased the truck. I built the engine 12 yrs. ago when I redid the whole truck. The cab is all original paint except the fibreglass addons, the box and topper were painted then. It has 160000 mi. on it since then all of them hard, it huffs a llittle oil when you start it up, but she purrs like a kitten when it's running. I still blow the doors off many young kids in their ricers, who can't belive 6000 Lb's can move so fast. Everything has to be tied or fastend in or it is piled up in the back as soon as you hit the throttle,( cup holders are a must ). A body freshen is in the near future, and some int. upgrades, it gets parked for the winter, so I can take my time. — 79bigbronco
