4x4, with a 3.73 rear end. .replaced all 6 rear-end bearings and had front gasket of tranny replaced with filter change at 115K using Mobile One.. front hub assmbly replaced at 120k and then both done at 165k again. About to get a turbo rebuild due to too much turbo chatter while hauling a trailer over the mountains of far SW Texas. |

bought this X used in Houston at 104K miles but was told it had a Ford factory remanufactured PSD at 78K miles. Now have 201K mostly problem free miles with these mods: no cat/muffler straight pipe, Tymar intake, 103 degree T-stat, Helwig bar, blue CPS, Bilstien shocks, and Radius Rods, with a MCST program in place. idle control mod, torque conv lockup mod, replaced front bumper and upgraded grill. run B100 most of the time for fuel. aftermarket 16" wheels with 285's. |
