The name travler comes from General Lee's horse..In case you were wondering...Got it from a guy at work. So far I have removed the complete interior and installed a 700 watt stereo system, removed the dash and replaced it with one from a explorer, repaired all electric locks, repaired the cruse control. The transfer case control system is next......Photos to come...I have found a 4.0 engine for $50.00 it was to be put into a ranger P/U but guy lost intrest. I'll pick it up this next week. My 2.9 is weak. |

I found a set of 4 Rancho 9000X shocks that a guy had put on his bronco 2. He installed a lift kit a few weeks later and had to replace the rancho shocks. I got them for $30.00....! They cost over $300.00 new. | 30.00 | | 09/24/05 | Maintenance | 88000 | Engine install
finished all under hood work, to include replacing cruse control modulator (old one was wrong year), replacing the foam under the hood (To clear engine), replaced all O rings on A/C system and installed new starter. returned 4.0 engine to the house and started building... standard bearings, new oil and water pump, all new gaskets.. I would like to thank Roland of Roland’s cylinder heads for the outstanding machine work he performed on my engine... The heads will be picked up in the next few weeks and I hope to have the engine done by Thanksgiving for the trip to N.C.
