The 1992 Chevrolet Corsica is a front-wheel-drive compact built on GM's L-body platform, sold only as a four-door notchback sedan after the five-door hatchback body was dropped following the 1991 model year. Engine choices were a 2.2 L OHV four-cylinder (LN2) and an optional 3.1 L V6 (LH0) rated near 140 net horsepower, with the V6 having replaced the earlier 2.8 L unit for 1990. Transmissions included a five-speed manual with the four-cylinder, a three-speed automatic, and a four-speed automatic offered on V6 cars. It shared its running gear with the two-door Chevrolet Beretta coupe.
