The 1994 Ford E-350 Econoline was the final model year for the naturally aspirated 7.3 liter IDI diesel in the van line. For 1995 the turbocharged 7.3 liter Power Stroke took its place, so 1994 closes the IDI chapter that began with the 6.9 in 1983. Gasoline engines and the one-ton chassis lineup carried over.
