The 2011 Ford F-250 Super Duty introduced Ford's first in-house diesel, the 6.7L Power Stroke "Scorpion," and the 6.2L Boss gas V8 replacing the 5.4L V8 and 6.8L V10, with the new 6R140 six-speed automatic. The 6.7L launched at 390 horsepower and 735 lb-ft, raised to 400 and 800 for most trucks by recalibration. The 2011 F-250 Super Duty used a solid front axle on 4x4.
