The 1958 Ford Ranchero carried the full-size coupe utility into its second year with the 1958 facelift that added quad headlamps. The base engine remained the 223-cubic-inch inline-six, and the V8 lineup grew when Ford added the new FE-family 332 and 352 V8s alongside the Y-block 292. All horsepower figures were SAE gross, the pre-1972 standard. Ford continued the base and Custom trim split and built 9,950 Rancheros for the 1958 model year.
