The 2013 Ford Taurus received a mid-cycle facelift. The 3.5 Cyclone V6 rose to 288 horsepower, a 2.0 EcoBoost turbocharged four-cylinder rated at 240 horsepower was added for 2013 through 2017, and the Police Interceptor Sedan used a 3.7 V6 with all-wheel drive. The SHO continued with its twin-turbocharged 3.5 EcoBoost V6 rated at 365 horsepower and standard all-wheel drive.
