Ford Torino
1971 Ford Torino Specs & Photos
The 1971 Ford Torino was a carryover of the 1970 second-generation body with a revised grille and minor trim updates, and it was the final year for the Torino convertible. The Torino Cobra continued with the 429 cu in (7.0L) Cobra Jet big-block, though compression ratios were lowered across the engine range to accommodate lower-octane, low-lead fuel. The lineup spanned a 250 cu in (4.1L) inline-six through 302, 351, and 429 V8s, with power still rated in gross horsepower. Body styles included the two-door hardtop, SportsRoof fastback, four-door hardtop and sedan, wagon, and convertible.
The 1971 Ford Torino is part of the Torino (1970-1971) generation (1970–1971). See the full Ford Torino 1970–1971 registry →
