The 1975 Lincoln Continental sedan and coupe carried the standard 460 cubic inch V8, now running a catalytic converter as unleaded fuel arrived across the industry. Four-wheel disc brakes joined the option list this year. The Town Car and Town Coupe luxury packages continued on the 127 inch wheelbase fifth generation.
