due to the size of the coil, i decided the best place to mount it would be between the battery tray and the vacuum reservoir on the wheel well. it is still close enough to the distributor that i can run a normal plug wire to it. its easy to access. i may change the location in the future aswell.

i extended the stock wiring to reach around the back of the engine, back forward toward the thermostat and over to the coil
