the floor in back of my truck was REALLY bad and smashing my fuel tank even. I decided to cut the floor mostly out. I welded some steel strips as support for the floor. I then made a 1/8" thick steel floor to mount ontop. its fastened to the supports and i have a fuel pump access also. The steel is bedlined
