'62 Galaxie 500 Club Sedan, 406/405HP, 4 speed 3.55 EquaLok. My first new car bought in October, 1962. Car sat in the showroom of Ron's Ford, Bristol, TN. several months due to person that ordered it could not get his credit union to finance a HiPo car. My parents signed for car and I brought it home when I was 15... 3 months before my 16th birthday. Dad would not let me drive it until I turned 16 though.
