After rotating the spring plates, I became very conscious of rattles from the chassis. One of the worst was the Y-pipe (which had been cut in several places & then welded back together) resting on the transmission crossmember. I didn't have time to make a hanger, so I just slipped a rubber pad & Aluminum shield plate under it temporarily. IF THE IMAGE IS TOO SMALL, click it.  .  I hadn't noticed the transfer case vent lying on the skidplate until I saw this pic. |
