I painted the fuel tank skid plate. Very minimal surface rust on the inside, but the outside was a bit scraped up and had some flash rust. Might as well get the inside good while it's accessible.

I also pulled the fuel filler neck out, to make space for welding the bed brace, and painted it. I assume it's galvanized metal and not overly susceptible to corrosion, but there was enough surface rust, especially by the mounting plate, to be worth addressing.
