I shaved the ends on the elbow hose where the ends had frayed and bubbled allowing the hose to leak. cut off about 1/2 inch on either end. Used some metal hose protector and electrical tape to clean things up a bit, and to provide a little protection to the hose. had enough tube to fit back on like a glove.
