Installation is a reversal of the removal process.
Make sure the flow direction arrow on the filter is oriented properly.
The arrow should point to the driver’s side of the car.
Clean the ends of the fuel hoses and connectors, before installing them on the new filter.
The clips will simply pop in place with a little pressure from your fingers.

Notes:
Don’t forget to re-install the fuel pump relay, and the gas cap if removed.
The first time you re-start the vehicle –
It will take a few more cranks than normal, and stumble for a second while the pressure builds back up in the system.
You can alleviate some of that by setting the key to the “run” position for 5 seconds first,
before starting the vehicle.
