Hook mounted to 1/4" plate bolted to the fram with grade 5 hardware, used 2 holes in the frame from Ford so we only had to drill 1 hole on each frame rail. The plate is mounted just behind the bumper braket. Hooks are 2 hole standard found in any hardware or auto store, mounted without the clips.
