On a JETTA find the 2 plugs under the dash (yes you will have to remove the plastic panels under the steering wheel, the fuse box cover, and the metal panel under the plastic one uder the dash.) The plug you want is the one on the left which is black. There is a wire in that plug which hasa clear sheath, and is copper iinside. That is the wire you want. (antenna wire)
