Once the backing plate is clean, put the new bearing and seal in. I used my old bearing against the new one and 1x against the old bearing. Gentle but firm, bang the bearing in. You should feel a little raised line inside the axle shaft which the bearing stops at. Used the wood against the new seal and beat that in also (careful with that one, the bearing can take a little more abuse). Photo also shows new brakes in place. Reused the two parking brake bars, everything else is new.
