Front suspension and disc brake assembly with caliper and rotor…

My camera died before I could take a picture of the other side, but you get the idea

I haven't started the rear or the rest of the underbody yet. I just work on it a little bit as I have time. I will be posting those pictures in here when that happens.

Hard to see but note the edelbrock IAS shock absorber, and that's a custom lowering spring that I had painted gunmetal.

I painted the steering knuckle and caliper a long time ago and they seem to be holding up well. The knuckle is rough cast, uncoated iron from the factory so they are normally coated in light surface rust at delivery (like the rear axle)
I wasn't too fond of that look so I just painted it with some black chassis paint.

Also note the ENS poly front bushings, and the CVPI front swaybar I had painted also in the gunmetal color.
Everything else is just factory. Those are actually factory rotors, calipers and pads on there as well.
The rusted rotor face is a little ugly but what do you expect after 12 years of service? :p

Oh, and if you look hard you can see my pristine brake lines
