this is the old motor id been working on forever. Myself and 3 of my classmates tore the engine down and measured everything. The conclusion we came to is that the guy who sold the ranchero to my friend had some things machined and put it back together himself...with no success. He probably had no idea what he was doing. The cam was shot and one of the rings had an inch gap..this would explain in part why i couldnt get it started.
