A bare aluminum four-cylinder short block mounted on a blue engine-stand adapter in a garage, deck surface up with all four cylinder bores exposed and a smear of sealant around the deck edge. Oil pan, coolant hoses, a pink-capped fitting and hose clamps are fitted to the block, with a Pro-Lift warning label on the stand at right.
