Now that all that is gone, time to remove the axle. When on the drivers side, just slide the axle out...easy now. The passenger side's axle is longer, and it connects to a CV joint before dissapering in the diff. Climb under and remove the two clips and slide the boot one way. NOW, you can easily pull the axle out. I had my wife do it while I was under guidling the axle out. Now there's nothing guiding it or stopping it from draging along the arm... If you're carefull, you can use the clips later.
