We cut out the rear 24" of old frame rail on both sides & made up new rails using 11 ga. 2"x3" box tubing. I made new thick-wall inserts for the shackle & bumper bolts to go thru the rail. Tubing was then welded to a piece of .080" x 4" x 24" stock before being welded to the floor section with about 2" being slid into the existing rail..
