The 1969 Mercury Marauder revived the nameplate as a full-size fastback two-door hardtop, pairing Marquis-style front styling with a tunneled flying-buttress rear roofline. The base car used a 390 V8, while the performance X-100 carried a standard 360-horsepower 429 with a matte-black rear deck and styled aluminum wheels.
