The 2004 Nissan 350Z added the Roadster, which paired a power-operated soft top with the coupe's 287 horsepower VQ35DE 3.5-liter V6 and was offered in Enthusiast and Touring trims. The coupe range carried over from the launch year with its six-speed manual or five-speed automatic and rear-wheel drive on the FM platform. The Track trim remained the lightest and most aggressive coupe, keeping its Brembo brakes and aerodynamic addenda.
