This is the reason for going to hydro assist.  I was going thru the last part of the Gate Keeper on the Rubicon trail when I heard a slight pop.  Well the ram broke, could not turn left.  Swapped in my spare box and all the steel shavings in the lines took out the pump.  so I had manual steering.  Not easy steering 38.5x14.5 swampers....
