Only to find out later the ring gear would explode and loose half of the teeth on it destroying my second 9" 3rd member. 1978 Ford Bronco - Dana 44 Axle truss. Didn't loose any ground clearance in my mind, and it takes one hell of a pounding. 1978 Ford Bronco - 8 lug chevy dana 44 outters. They fit nicely on the Ford axle. 1978 Ford Bronco - Just a little caliper grinding to fit 15" rims with 2.75" back spacing 1978 Ford Bronco - My dana 44 installed from the 76 F-150 and 8 lug outters on it. 1978 Ford Bronco - Front axle completely installed and the SX's are mounted.
