This CF bulb is rather large and puts out about 150-175 watts of light but uses only 45 watts of electricty. This one DOES get hot though so it can not be used in an enclosed fixture, it is suitable for table lamps.

and for kicks, this is a LED nightlight, uses only 0.2 watts of electricity!!! There are 2 small LED bulbs in this night light!

These suckers are 60 inches long and put out about 110 watts of light EACH. I have 2 fixtures in my garage, they make GREAT shop lights for working on my Vic and my Truck.

Here is a picture of one of those Warm White T-12 Bulbs. Guarenteed Long Life indeed! It's been in this fixture which has seen alot of use since the late 80s!

Here are 2 Cool white T-12 bulbs and 2 Warm White T-12 bulbs. You can tell the bulbs are getting old by how dark they are getting at the tips.

These bulbs are T-12 bulbs, notice how they are larger then the T-8s. Never use a T-8 bulb in a T-12 fixture. It will overheat the ballast causing failure or even fire.

This is a T-8 Fluorescent bulb in a T-8 fixture. The fluorescent bulb is thinner then that of a T-12 (what most people are used to) The T-8 uses less energy then the T-12 and uses a different type of ballast. You should NEVER EVER EVER use a T-8 b...
