1979 Ford Bronco - the original seat mounting bracket was at an angle, so I made a couple relief cuts and bent it flat. Welded the .188 wall tubing to it. 1979 Ford Bronco - Made 2 rows of tubing for a total of 3" lift under the seat. The two rails that run front-to-back are what actually mount to the body. 1979 Ford Bronco - 2" angle iron welded along the back of the seat rails to give stability and a way to bolt the seat in. 1979 Ford Bronco - 1/4" flat stock was welded from front to back to provide some more support. The Honda seat mounting brackets are not very strong. 1979 Ford Bronco - Front mounting brackets welded in place. 1979 Ford Bronco - Pass seat bolted in. Lots of clearance behind it for seat adjustment. 1979 Ford Bronco - Install complete. 1979 Ford Bronco - Front seat mounting location very close to where the original bench seat holes are.
