The story

400s are great engines if built correctly. Watch for cracked heads and go aftermarket. No reason why you can't get 300 hp/350 lb/ft torque for a reasonable amount of money. Mine is a great daily driver. 12 mpg city/14 mpg highway. — Indybronco
