| Drivetrain: |
C-6 with a Trans-go shift kit, NP205, 1979 Dana 60s(stock gears and axles for now)The front D60 has Dedenbear Cs with the pinion set at 15 degrees. Both D60s have 1350 forged pinion yokes. I made custom driveshafts using the stock 1330 CVs, .120 tubes and Driveshaftsuperstore 7" 1350 slip yokes. The front suspension consists of 9" Skyjacker springs, Cage radius arms and dual shock hoops and BulletProof trail proof steering/track bar and a oem pitman arm. The rear suspension consists of Deaver 6" springs, ORD 1" zero rates and a home brew shackle flip with 6" Sky shackles |
| Notes: |
This is one of my many projects but probably one of my favorites. I bought it cheap and most of the parts came cheap. The truck was $250 with some front end damage the D60s were free etc. Plans are to trim the fenders, fab up some bumpers/winch mounts, gears/lockers/axles and to move the rear D60 back 4-5" |
