1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - This corner has always been bent down & forward slightly, and I'm tired of looking at it. So the 11-foot prybar is going into action... Not… 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - The hook on the end bolted to the chain is a scrap of angle iron I bent in the vise. This is at the end of the first pull with 1 shim. It's… 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - This is how I'm pulling the prybar - the ratchet strap is hooked to the front spring bracket. 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - This is the 2nd pull with 2 shims, and it's just past straight. The end hook was pulling a little too hard, so I added the black ratchet st… 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - The 2nd pull did it. I dropped the v… 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - That's what I'm lookin' for! 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - The rust mark on the oil cooler bracket tells the story 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - A vast improvement - the grill fits better, and the lower valance isn't twisted. 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - WalMart sells these Platinum Burners for ~$18 with 55W flood reflector bulbs; Advance wanted ~$23 for the same thing with 35W bulbs. I've s… 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - Platinum Burners from WM. I've since swapped them for the smaller rectangular ones. That's the block heater plug below. 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - I drilled the hole in the back top lip of the bumper, below the filler panel, so it's totally invisible, even if the light gets removed. 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - I drilled the hole in the back top lip of the bumper, below the filler panel, so it's totally invisible, even if the light gets removed. 1997 Chevrolet C/K Pickup - Of course, the lights came with a crappy wiring set, but I'm not depending on it, and I hate adding fuses that get hidden/forgotten. So I'v…
