I had to use the steering column from the 79 in the 72 cab for some reason, i forgot, but it was an easy swao once I drilled the spot welds… Owner
the bae metal is were the mount had been on the column, the black spot on the column is from the hole in the mount bracket. Owner
Once re-spot welded, the column is just as strong as stock and it fit the 72 cab with no problems from this point on. I also used the wirin… Owner
