About the 1987-1991 Ford F-150

The 1987-1991 Ford F-150 is the eighth-generation F-Series, an aerodynamic refresh of the cab and body Ford had introduced for 1980. Enthusiasts group the 1987-1991 and 1992-1996 trucks together as OBS, for Old Body Style, because both share that rounded sheet metal before the 1997 redesign. The 1987 Ford F-150 was the first US truck sold with composite (aerodynamic) headlamps in place of sealed-beam units. Electronic fuel injection spread across the engine range during this generation, and rear-wheel antilock brakes were added. The base engine remained the 300-cubic-inch (4.9L) inline-six, with 5.0L and 5.8L V8 options above it.

The story

__Aim__:
To have a safe, working work truck,
Keep the truck on the road. Enough maintenance
Not trying for a show truck, want a work truck.

__To fix__:
Passenger Door to close better without lifting up
Sloppy steering, think tie-rod ends, alignment.
Interior Mirror
Engine Cleaning (need to see where leaks are coming from)
Upper Radiator Hose looks old and weak, easy to change
Lower Radiator - ought to take a look at it.
Serpentine belt also looks old, its not on last days, but good maintenance says replace.

__Things done__:
Battery Cables
Distributor Cap and Rotor - hadn't been changed in long time
Plugs - Hadn't been changed in long time.
Plug wires weren't changed - not that bad, not that good.
Air filter
Drain & Fill Anti-freeze.
