1983 Ford Bronco - well the law said i needed license plate lights so i went and got these LED units. (they are blue) 1983 Ford Bronco - This was going to be a simple install. here is the plate mount 1983 Ford Bronco - Now the top bolts are out. 1983 Ford Bronco - I then put the LED bolts in the holes wires first. 1983 Ford Bronco - I then put the nuts and washers on the LED. you can see the LED wires hanging in the back of the bumper. 1983 Ford Bronco - It is hard to see but i soldered and heat shrinked all the wire connections. 1983 Ford Bronco - I wired the POS and neg on the LEDs together. 1983 Ford Bronco - I just tied them into the back ground and running light hot. I then heat shrinked the connection to keep out the muck. 1983 Ford Bronco - Here was the final connection all weather protected. 1983 Ford Bronco - Here is the final install. these are bright and use little power. i think they will work great. 1983 Ford Bronco - Another view of the LEDs installed 1983 Ford Bronco - here it the plate alittle bit down the street.
