1983 Ford Bronco - this is the old Pantry latch. it broke and just would not hold the door shut. it would slam open and i was afrad it would shater the mirror. 1983 Ford Bronco - here is the door part of the catch. 1983 Ford Bronco - the catch was stripped out and would not hold so i went to a newer style catch. 1983 Ford Bronco - here is the cabinet side with the old latch removed 1983 Ford Bronco - this is how the old catch worked. but the pin was in the door seam and would not hold. 1983 Ford Bronco - off to Home Depot and got a magnet latch. 1983 Ford Bronco - here is the new latch out of the bag. 1983 Ford Bronco - here are the catches on the door they are just metal plates 1983 Ford Bronco - here is the latch on the cabinet side. now the door stays in place. 1983 Ford Bronco - this is the step toolbox it has a broken latch system. here it is at the start. 1983 Ford Bronco - you can see the bulit connectors are worn out. they are in the yellow boxes 1983 Ford Bronco - you can see the other end of the latches are worn out as well. again in yellow boxes 1983 Ford Bronco - a shot of the worn out without the boxes 1983 Ford Bronco - here are the new bulits installed on the door. 1983 Ford Bronco - here are the new top latches. this door now stays closed. nice to not have to kick the door shut then step out.
