“Hauss”1978 Ford F-250

The story

Bought Hauss From the Original Owners Granddaughter. He Bought it new from Senator Ford in Sacramento California in May 1978. It has the Explorer package with the Factory Bed Rails and Black Explorer hood ornament. He kept it all original and took good care of it. When he passed away a few years ago his granddaughter inherited it and his son (my good friend and neighbor) did some things to help appearance and functionality of everyday driving. She got the truck and use it as a daily driver for about a year until she bought a car that was more economical. He had no use for it so i offered to buy it and keep it in the "family". It now resides in my driveway as my only vehical. I love and cherish this truck. It's in perfect mechanical condition and will always be that way. I'm going to go ahead and semi restore it until a later time when i can afford a full frame off restoration. Probably 10 years from now. Thats my story. — Aaron Kirby
