The 2003 Dodge Neon was a second-generation (2000-2005) four-door sedan and the debut year for the high-performance SRT-4 variant. The SRT-4 used a turbocharged 2.4L inline-four rated at 215 hp with a five-speed manual, while base and mid-level cars kept the naturally aspirated 2.0L SOHC inline-four at 132 hp. Non-SRT models offered a five-speed manual or a three-speed automatic transmission.
