The 2004 Dodge Neon was a second-generation (2000-2005) four-door sedan, a carryover year in which the SRT-4's turbocharged 2.4L inline-four was raised to 230 hp from the prior year's 215 hp. Base models continued with the 2.0L SOHC inline-four rated at 132 hp. The SRT-4 used a five-speed manual, while standard Neons offered a five-speed manual or a three-speed automatic. Chrysler discontinued the Neon after the 2005 model year, replacing it with the Caliber.
