The 1991 Ford E-350 Econoline closed out the third-generation van, ending a run that began with the E-350 name itself in 1975. It was the last E-350 with the original third-generation body; a fully restyled fourth generation arrived for 1992. The 7.3 liter IDI diesel remained the heavy-duty engine option.
