1953 Ford F-100 Photos & Pictures
The 1953 Ford F-100 introduced the F-100 name, replacing the half-ton F-1 as Ford redesigned the second-generation F-Series for its 50th anniversary. The three-digit F-100, F-250, and F-350 naming began this year. The 1953 Ford F-100 used a 215-cubic-inch overhead-valve six and the last flathead V8, a 239-cubic-inch unit, with horsepower quoted in SAE gross figures.
