The 1983 Ford F-100 was the final F-100 model year in the United States. The 300-cubic-inch (4.9L) inline-six was standard, with the 302 and 351 Windsor V8s as options. Ford retired the F-100 name after 1983, leaving the F-150, introduced above it for 1975, as the F-Series half-ton. The "Bullnose" body continued on the F-150.
