The 1984 Ford F-250 continued the Bullnose truck after the F-100 was discontinued, leaving the F-150 as the smallest F-Series below the F-250; a 351 HO V8 was added. The 6.9L IDI diesel, the 300 inline-six, the 302, the 351 Windsor, and the 460 were all offered. The 1984 F-250 4x4 used Twin-Traction Beam independent front suspension.
