The 1981 Ford F-350 carried the year-old bullnose body forward with few changes. The one-ton stayed gasoline-only, running the 300 inline-six and the 351M and 400 V8s, two years before Ford's first factory diesel. Regular cab, crew cab, chassis cab, and dual-rear-wheel configurations covered the work-truck range.
